Ezgro – SSP (Superior Spreading Penetration)

SSP is an innovative product that improves the wetting, adhesive
and penetrating properties of various plant protection products. It gives the
water droplet the ability to cover a much larger active contact surface,
increasing the penetration capacity of the dissolved substances contained in the water
droplet.

Composition: 85% Polyether modified Siloxane

Recommended Dosage with other plant protection products in spray mixture: 0.8-1 L/ ton of water

  Mode of Action
SSP works through a mechanical mode of action.
-It acts synergistically in reducing the population of many harmful pests such as
- Spider mites (mites)
- Aphids
- Whiteflies in vegetables
- Thrips
- Scale insects (Cottony cushion scale – Mealybugs)
- Black Spiny Whitefly

-It does not contain plant protection substances (therefore there is no residue issue - MRLs).
-It provides greater flexibility of application close to harvest time.
-Due to its physical mode of action, pests do not develop resistance to it.
-Therefore, it is particularly useful in resistance management strategies and in controlling populations resistant to conventional insecticides.

  Why This Product Stands Out
SSP is a modern wetting agent (adjuvant) added to the spray solution and significantly improves the effectiveness of plant protection products and foliar fertilizers.
Its action is not limited to simple “wetting”, but substantially affects the way the spray liquid behaves on the leaf surface.

1. Excellent wetting and spreading on leaves
It reduces the surface tension of water, allowing the droplet to spread evenly across the entire leaf surface instead of forming beads.

2. Better adhesion – fewer losses
The spray solution “sticks” to the leaf and is not easily removed by wind or light rain.

3. Increased penetration of the active substance
It helps the pesticide or fertilizer penetrate more effectively into the leaf, increasing its effectiveness.

4. Uniform coverage even on “difficult” leaves
Ideal for crops with waxy surfaces (olive trees, cabbages, onions, cotton, vineyards).

5. Reduced spraying costs
With better spray efficiency, fewer repeat applications are often required.

6. Compatible with most formulations
It mixes easily with insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and foliar fertilizers.
